Diwali is perhaps one of the biggest celebrations in our offices. It is a time for new beginnings and togetherness. Every year at Code Calibre we dress up in our nicest clothes and gather in celebration of this auspicious time. This involves a great feast as well as presents for all of our crew. This year the celebrations were bigger than ever as we welcomed many new members into our Code Calibre family and made them feel right at home.

It is a testament to the comraderie in our ranks that our first corporate retreat was not just completely impromptu, but also a massive success. A break from the hustle of the big city was the order of the day as we descended into the foothills of Nainital. Stunning views, great food and loads of wonderous activities were just the things our team needed to feel rejuvinated and ever more dedicated to their work. It was a memorable experience for our whole team, the likes of which we seek to repeat every year.
While our team members come from different backgrounds and cultures, we all appreciate the benefits of a little spirituality in our lives. For this reason our second retreat was to the serene and stunning Mukteshwar Temple in Uttarakhand, where our crew had a chance to take a break from their usual office and work in nature's lap for a week.
Despite our best intentions and steadfast commitment to work, we know that sitting in an office all day long is not the best thing for your health. In order to achieve a healthy balance in life as well as fostering teamwork, we at Code Calibre routinely engage in sporting activities among our crew. This year we set up a cricket tournament that brought out the competitive edge in all who participated, and while there was an obvious winner in the end we all felt like winners having spent a great day outdoors enjoying our favourite sport.
